The older enthusiasts amongst you will know that a fuel catalyst is nothing new! To our knowledge the catalyst was perfected in 1940 by the RAF for use in Hurricanes and Spitfires. We reason that if its OK for a RR Merlin engine its reasonable to assume its OK for your 60's Morris Minor or 30's Rover 10.
A catalyst is for use with low octane unleaded fuel. Its purpose is to improve the way in which unleaded fuel combusts as distinct from the way in which unleaded fuel combusts without the catalyst added. It is not a substitute for lead, nor is it an additive, nor does it increase the octane level of unleaded fuel.
It is simply designed to give a longer and more complete burn at each combustion cycle.
